Getting started
Swipe left or right to change lanes, up to jump, and down to slide. In the air, swipes can add tricks or bring you down faster. Choose a world from Home or combine worlds in Grand Tour. Pause is always available during a run.
Game Center and scoreboards
Check that you are signed in under Settings → Game Center on your iPhone and have an internet connection. Open Scoreboard in Skystride to see leaderboards and achievements. Core play and personal records work while signed out; Open Game Center is disabled until you sign in.
Saved progress
Your progress is stored on this iPhone. Game Center stores scores and achievements, not your wallet, wardrobe or local save. If something looks wrong, contact support before deleting or reinstalling the app; we cannot retrieve a local save from a developer server.
Music and motion
In Settings, open Audio to adjust music, music in runs, world sounds and effects. Experience includes Calm Motion and vibration controls. For reduced motion, turn on Calm Motion in the game, or enable Reduce Motion in iPhone Settings before opening Skystride.
Saving a photo
Use photo mode during a paused run, then choose Save. If permission was declined, review Skystride’s Photos access in iOS Settings. Permission is add-only: the game does not need to read your library.
Crashes or performance
Tell us the world, selected runner and what happened immediately before the issue. Check that your iPhone has free storage and close and reopen the app. Avoid deleting the app as a first troubleshooting step, because that removes local progress.
Availability and purchases
Skystride is being prepared for a free App Store release for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Play as Ryder or Chico across all six worlds without ads. Coins and gems are earned during play, and their items remain in the original Shop wardrobe that opens by default. Choose Shop → Cosmetic Packs to explore the three optional permanent cosmetic packs. These change appearance only; no subscriptions or paid gameplay advantages.
Restoring cosmetic packs
Choose Shop → Cosmetic Packs → Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account used to buy the pack. An internet connection may be needed. Pending purchases unlock after Apple approves them; cancelling a purchase leaves gameplay available. Supporter includes both individual packs and a badge; buying it after an individual pack does not provide partial credit. Contact us if verified purchases still do not appear.
